Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Altunsa Milk Powder

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper (optional)

  • 1 cup butter, margarine, or oil spread

Method:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk powder, flour, salt, and pepper.

  2. Cut in the butter or margarine using a pastry blender until no large pieces remain.

  3. To use: Combine 1/2 cup of this dry mix with 1 cup cool water in a saucepan.

  4. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick and smooth.

  5. Season as desired. Makes approx. 1 cup sauce.
